How we Produced a Web Video Contest for ASUS Computers

This is pretty big actually. Not that you weren’t paying attention before, but REALLY listen up now. ASUS is giving away $15,000 in ASUS products to three small businesses. Oh yeah, you heard right. Check out the competition in this fantastic explanatory video:

Pretty cool, right? So, the basic gist is that ASUS understands that small businesses in the U.S. and Canada are started from personal passion, and the company wants to find creative, inspiring and driven small business owners and hear their story. Then ASUS so kindly is holding a competition to give away, that’s right, $15K in ASUS products to three different small businesses! Wowza.

The video we created uses mix of cartoon and whiteboard animation. As you can see, we use relatable characters. This video is geared towards small business owners, so we aren’t creating characters in a three-piece suit or a princess crown. They are everyday people like you and me:

In web video production, it is always important to target the right customers. Working with ASUS, we were able to talk with them about who this competition is for and what that demographic looks like.

Also, this competition has a prize of technological products, so it makes sense that the competition is explained using high quality technology (aka a Revolution Productions video). This video not only clearly demonstrates how the competition will work, but it shows how in-the-know ASUS is when it comes to technology and online products (and when choosing a video production company).
