What is the Best Animated Explainer Video Software for Mac

Making online videos is harder to do than it may seem, so if you have the manpower do it yourself, then by all means get to It! Today’s post is for those ambitious types, who are often curious to know, what hardware is best or necessary to use when producing explainer videos? Well, lets take a look at some essential tools, and you can add them to your Christmas list…and check it twice.

First let us clarify the time old debate: is Mac better than PC? Well we could go on and on about which is better, but in the end what really is going to count is productivity and how much you, as the designer, prefer the device. For instance, a PC is going to be better than a slow Mac and vise versa. But then I am sure you are wondering why we personally use Macs. We think they handle programs more seamlessly than PC’s, and we prefer the shortcuts that they can provide. Although we know a number of designers who feel differently and use PC, so the final word on this is: Preference!

Let’s move onto the Wacom Tablet, the digital drawing tool that will bring life to your videos. There are a few versions, which can cost in the hundreds or thousands. Again, depending on budget, the only difference is that you draw on magnetized board or on a separate computer screen. Both offer the same degree of design, but this all depends on preference of the designer.

Lastly, an essential tool for your video toolkit is having enough RAM on your computer. This may seem like useless suggestion, but many disregard the fact that design software is not only expensive, but it will eat away at your computers’ memory. So, before you keep buying more and more computers, just exchange for higher RAM in your same computer. The key is not having a slow running machine, it will ruin your productivity and inspiration for creativity.

There you go, animation is no easy task, but as you know, the right tools, the right people and some imagination will make you into an video pro…something like Revolution Productions, :)! Till next time.
