Revolution Productions Spotlight Video: Production Map

New on the market today…. Production Map! This company offers a product that tracks and automates all changes in the software lifecycle. Hmm…are you confused as I am? Well watch their videos that uses cartoon animation to explain product more clearly:

So, take note of why we made this video the way we did; it’s no accident when we make online videos. Production Map’s main benefit that they want to portray to their customer is the ability to make documentation “visual and clear,” so we took the same approach in the video production. This is a simple video that portrays an average guy in a situation that is relatable to most people. Average guy “James” comes out in the end on top (of a ski slope!) and shows how beneficial this product can be. We wanted to clearly lay out the straight-forwardness of the product in the simplest of terms, showing what the customer has to do step by step (or click by click) when using Production Map.

It was also important to tie in and use the same color scheme in the video as is in the Production Map logo. The blues that are seen on the office walls, in James’s day dreams, and within the on-site tutorial all match the very important and recognizable logo.

So what have we learned from this? Our clients can make something complicated into something that is easy to explain and understood by all. Production Map is an awesome tool for anyone, but the concept needs to be appreciated by consumers, and this explanatory video has helped highlight its benefits. If you have a complicated product that you would like to be turned into a straightforward story like this one, call us and we will simplify your world!
